Where the world meets Kentucky! Ever since their recent renovation, this elegant museum and event space has served as the official first stop for bourbon lovers. It's the place to go to make your plan and learn the players, as you set out to explore via the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Welcome Center. While you're there you can engage in Kentucky Bourbon culture through interactive exhibits and awesome artifacts from our rich history via The Spirit of Kentucky® exhibit, plus a whole lot more.

Located on the Salt River in Lawrenceburg, the Four Roses Distillery is a unique single-story rack warehouse and bottling facility. Life moves at a very soothing and savory pace out that way, perfectly suited for creating that sumptuously sippable Four Roses that we all know and love. The folks at the distillery recommend that you make reservations for one of their hourly tours, but you're always welcome to drop in for first come, first serve availability.

You know that you're in for a good time as soon as you walk in and see the giant rocks glass that never stops pouring into a luxurious fountain to your right. Take the tour, where you will learn everything there is to know about how Evan Williams continues to produce such a sterling product. There's even a recreation of Louisville's Main Street as it used to be, just before you get a chance to sample some of that fantastic bourbon and visit a gift shop filled with some very special gift ideas for anyone who loves EW.

The building itself is a bold and forward thinking architectural statement of intent that must be seen to be believed, just as Rabbit Hole's spirits can only be tasted. On the one hour tour, you will get a complete sense of how this labor of love that founder Kaveh Zamanian has devoted himself to has managed to bring an incredibly innovative new sensation to Bourbon's centuries long traditions.

It’s a short trip outside the city limits to the Kentucky Artisan Distillery, and once there, you will get a sense of the fascinating history behind the very unique and special range of Jefferson’s Bourbon products, such as Esquire and Jefferson’s Barrel Aged Manhattan, Jefferson’s Presidential Select, and Jefferson’s Grand Selection Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes Cask Finish. You can witness not just a distillery in action, but also an insider’s look at one of the only non-automated and non-computerized distilleries, complete devoid of iPads. The distillers use their senses to know when  batch is done. Not to mention, this is the home of the very first malting room at any Kentucky distillery.
