With the return of The Breeders’ Cup, our city gets another chance to define racetrack attire.  Don’t make this three-day Fall event into Derby with a coat.  Instead, reinterpret track style with opulent fabrics, luxe layers and headpieces that combine form and function.  (It gets chilly out there!) Think ensemble dressing rather than dress plus hat.  Work in some pantsuits and haberdashery; revel in details like gloves and scarves. This isn’t our first day at the races.
