For decades, being branded a 'cat lady' meant you were an unstylish, undesirable spinster. But in this day and age, being a gal who loves felines isn't only perfectly acceptable, it is down right trendy. TakeTaylor Swift with her oh so loveable companions, Meredith and Olivia; two Scottish Fold beauties with lots of personality. Dolce & Gabbana's recent collections have runneth over with kitties, so we could not resist putting some of those pieces to good use. We started off our purrfect look with a pair of blue stretch cotton cat skinny jeans from the Italian designers. Both comfy and stylish with a low rise, it has a leather brand patch to the rear, ripped details and a faded effect, and accented with an embroidered cat patch. To prove we aren't kitten around with our cat love, we paired up our skinny jeans with a black silk blend crowned kitten patch top from D&G.The cute and chic shirt features a round neck, tie fastening with crystal embellishments, and short sleeves. If this isn't a conversation starter, we cannot imagine what is. Since it is fall now and the weather seems to change every minute, we had to add a complementary cover-up.  The Tome embroidered tailored coat is a staple piece you will get plenty of wear, adding an instant splash of sophistication to any outfit. For our shoes, we hopped on the military inspired trend with 4 inch high mary-janes, also by Dolce & Gabbana. Gold embroidery trims the plush suede base, while glossy buttons end the pair on a luxe note. For arm candy, the brand's clock handle bag is an eye-catcher without stealing the show. The black leather box tote features a padlock fastening detail, spike stud accents, an internal compact mirror, with detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, and a pocket watch on a gold-tone chain. Adding a little edge and sparkle via our jewelry, the Vita Fede two-tone mini titan crystal bracelet was the go to choice. We completed this entire look with a cat inspired beauty essential - Kevyn Aucoin's black liquid liner has a fine felt tip which is perfect for drawing a flawless feline flick. In this outfit...even people who claim to be anti-cat (can you even imagine?!) will be saying "Here Kitty, Kitty" to this luxurious look.
