This week's look makes for an easy transition from the office to cocktail hour. Mixing dressy and casual separates is a stylish and stress-free way to have that perfect medium look.

Let's start things off with a cool white vest made for steamy July days. Umit Benan B+ draws inspiration from the 1980s tailoring that dominated the Turkish designer's youth to create this cream Richard waistcoat. It's expertly crafted in Italy from exquisite silk twill with a V-neck and slanted flapped pockets, then turns to reveal a lustrous striped reverse with buckled side tabs. This sleeveless vest paired with comfy jeans exudes the ultimate "cool girl" vibe, so naturally, our next stop was denim. Look to 7 For All Mankind for American classics such as the The Straight Crop jeans in the label's dark blue Soho wash. They're made from stretch-cotton denim, which offers a comfortable fit with a mid-rise waist.

Keeping our accessories in the crisp white and rich gold family, we amped up the glamour with covet-worthy sandals by Gucci. Dainty proportions are contrasted with statement hardware to create these showstopping stems. Made from lambskin leather, they have slender chain embellished straps and tapered high heels. Next up is jewelry, and we figured if you're going to do an all-white look, why not toss in some pearls? A combination of mirrored glass crystals and faux pearls make these drop earrings from Gucci a decadent investment.

For our bag, we wanted something that screamed luxury but was also low fuss... which is why this design by Alexander McQueen was an easy winner. A sleek, sculptural knuckle clasp shines against the ivory lambskin leather of this softly structured clutch that delivers both a fresh attitude and versatile appeal. Polishing off this sleek look is Jaclyn Hill's brand new creamy sun-kissed bronzer that gives skin the ultimate summer touch and a chic pair of square oversized Dior sunglasses.

In this look, anything is possible. Whether it's a work meeting or dinner on the town, everyone will think this outfit is Simply The Vest!
