First up is a beautiful and easy fall tablescape, perfect for your upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. It is so simple to do yourself using floral stems, candlesticks and a sisal turkey! Come to Dee's to get what you need and then follow along with this easy step by step!

  • 2 Mixed Corn Husk Pumpkin Sprays
  • 2 Different Fall Ribbons (About 2 Yards Each)
  • 2 Candle Sticks
  • Turkey
  • Scissors
  • Floral Wire
  • Wire Cutters

  1. Choose the items you want to use based on the size of your table, your color palette, and the style and feel you are wanting to achieve.
  2. Lorie is using 2 mixed corn husk pumpkin stems. First, chop approximately 3/4 of the stem using wire cutters. Then on one stem, cut one of the white pumpkins off to use later.
  3. Fluff the stems by moving the leaves and berries out and up to make them look more life-like. All the stems and elements are wired which makes it easy to do.
  4. Lay them on the table you are wanting to display them on and wire them together in the center with a piece of floral wire.
  5. Lorie chose 2 wired ribbons, one 2.5" wide and one 1.5" wide. Create a bow by holding it in one hand and twisting with the other. We have lots of great videos for bows at Dee's Louisville on YouTube.
  6. Wire the bow in the center where you wired together the stems. Weave the tails through the stems both ways and trim the ends.
  7. Add candlesticks (or other items you have at home such as books) for elevation.
  8. Place a turkey, pumpkin, or any other fall decor item you have on the candlesticks!
