The Blessings in a Backpack Louisville Chapter hosted its fifth Annual Golf Scramble on Monday, August 15, at the Wildwood Country Club. All event proceeds will help provide hunger-free weekends for local students within Jefferson County Public Schools. Currently, the Louisville Chapter feeds more than 6,200 kids in 51 local schools; however, nearly 80,000 kids qualify for the program. The organization aims to raise funds through participation and sponsorship in this year’s golf scramble to help provide Blessings bags of food to additional students during the upcoming school year.
The event will include lunch, a post-event reception, and a silent auction. Players can participate as individual golfers or as a team of four.
