Colon Cancer Prevention Project to Host “Colon One” Golf Scramble
The Colon Cancer Prevention Project is proud to announce the Colon One Golf Scramble on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Audubon Country Club. Each participant will receive greens and cart fees, a grab and go breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks while you play, and key golfer gift.
“We are a so excited about the Colon One Golf Scramble,” said Dave Bell, CEO of the Colon Cancer Prevention Project. “This event affords players the opportunity to play the beautiful Audubon course, have fun, and support an awesome cause!
The Colon One Golf Scramble will have more than 100 participants including colon cancer survivors, physicians and other supporters. Players can register as individuals or as a foursome. Hole sponsorships are also available for purchase.
This event will support the Colon Cancer Prevention Project’s mission of eliminating preventable colon cancer death and suffering by making sure people get timely screenings. This mission is accomplished through education, advocacy, health systems improvement, and survivor support. We began kicking butt in Louisville, KY in 2004 and our work has grown to reach throughout the region. The Project actively works in the community to accomplish its mission by educating, empowering and putting prevention into practice.
